YCD Training

 

Young Community Developers (YCD) and the Now Hunters Point Family held an Asbestos Abatement Certification and a Lead Abatement Certification workshop at NOW Hunters Point. Both workshops had classroom and hands-on components.  As part of these workshops, participants built small containment units out of plastic tubes, and practiced dressing in contamination suits and other personal protective gear.
