Job Training

As part of our ongoing partnership with Young Community Developers, NOW Hunters Point will host a Solar Job Readiness Training. This is a 7-week program consists of classroom and hands-on instruction in each of the following areas:

Constructing and installing a simulated solar PV system.  A Simulated Solar PV System

The functions and performance characteristics of a solar power system

The initial solar power system costs

Soft skills training in communications, problem-solving, resume writing, and

conflict management & resolution
